New Facility Plan
To be in the healthcare business is to be in a state of constant progress and change. As part of that progress, we are constructing a new to facility, which will allow us to continue to deliver the high quality, modern health care that the best providers and the community expect.
The focus of our project is to create:
- a comfortable environment that supports our patients’ healing journeys
- a sanctuary that allows patients to connect with nature
- spaces for spirituality and reflection
- an environment that facilitates our continuous improvement as an organization
More than 4000 hours of planning were done by our physicians, management and staff to attempt to find every way possible to deliver care as efficiently and affordably as possible, while maintaining quality outcomes and high levels of patient satisfaction.
Our goal is for this to be a LEED certified project, and there are currently less than 100 LEED certified healthcare facilities in the entire nation.
Some key project highlights include:
- convenient day-surgery access and private exit
- an emergency helipad and covered ambulance entrance
- expanded family birth center featuring larger birthing suites
- a new chapel with rooftop garden
- a top-story cafeteria with sweeping views and outdoor seating
