Monroe Clinic Tightens Hospital Visitation in Light of H1N1 Flu

In an effort to protect patients, staff and the community from the H1N1 flu virus, Monroe Clinic has implemented visitor restrictions for those under the age of 18 in the hospital. Not only is this segment of the population one of the most at risk to contract the virus, but also they often forget to take normal precautions to avoid spreading infections.

Monroe Clinic Thanks Baldwin Kohl for Federal Funds

Monroe Clinic extends thanks to Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Senator Herb Kohl (D-WI) for securing $423,000 in federal funds to help develop its Rural Health Technology Initiative. The funds were included in the FY 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act (245-178) passed February 25 by the House of Representatives.
