In addition to seeing patients at Monroe Clinic’s main campus, Charles Stuart, MD, is now seeing patients every other Tuesday at Monroe Clinic-Freeport Clinic.

Nephrologist, Dr. Stuart is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine, and board eligible in nephrology. He has received additional training in the treatment of patients with kidney diseases. Dr. Stuart treats patients in a comprehensive way, since diseases of the kidney may affect the function of other body organs.

Dr. Stuart received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, and completed a nephrology fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.

“I see many of my patients over a period of years, and I take pleasure in building a close relationship with them,” said Dr. Stuart. “I enjoy helping patients benefit from a high quality of life, while preventing the progression of kidney disease.”

Dr. Stuart is the director of Monroe Clinic’s dialysis center at Monroe Clinic hospital. He is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology.
