Dr. Cates provides comprehensive health care to all members of the family. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison and completed his internship in family practice at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. He practices at Monroe Clinic-Brodhead.
“I take care of individuals and families, both young and old,” said Dr. Cates. “It’s very rewarding to help people feel better again.”
Dr. Cates is board certified in family practice and sports medicine. Flexible sigmoidoscopies, treadmill tests, joint injections and minor surgery are some of the procedures he performs. He is a member of the Monroe Clinic sports medicine team.
