Monroe Clinic's Report Card

Each quarter, Monroe Clinic compiles a report card using data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This information helps us analyze specific measurements of quality – showing us where we are on the right course, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement. The most current report card is shown below. This report card allows us (and you!) to compare our performance with other area healthcare systems. We encourage you to visit hospitalcompare.hhs.gov to research specific hospitals for yourself.

Interpreting The Report Card

Within each category (surgical care, pneumonia, heart failure, patient satisfaction) the Department of Health and Human Services measures criteria proven to enhance care. We’ve summarized the scores of the individual criteria into one category average using a simple weighted average. The weighted average per category is rolled into one composite score giving us an idea of how well we compare against other hospitals in overall quality of care.
