Monroe Clinic recognized as a Top 20 Rural & Community Hospital

Monroe Clinic has been named one of the 2021 Top 20 Rural & Community Hospitals in the United States by The National Rural Health Association (NRHA). This award comes as part of an evaluation by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Regarded as one of the industry’s most significant designations of performance excellence, Monroe Clinic is proud to have received this Top 20 award, along with being ranked as a Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital every year since 2016.

Regarded as one of the industry’s most significant designations of performance excellence, the annual Top 100 and Top 20 Rural & Community Hospitals award is based upon the results of the Hospital Strength INDEX® from iVantage Health Analytics. Based entirely on publicly available data, this review gives hospitals a score across eight pillars of hospital strength: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, cost, charge, quality, outcomes, patient perspective and financial stability.

Hospitals considered for this list must have 550 or fewer beds and be located in a suburban or rural area.

In addition, Chartis also recongizes Monroe Clinic with their Performance Leadership Award in areas of Excellent Patient Outcomes and Patient Satisfaction.
