WHAT IS A RESIDENT PHYSICIAN

A Resident physician is a physician in training who has graduated from an allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) medical school. Residents spend three years of post-graduate training to learn family-centered care in a rural setting. Resident physicians are supervised by board-certified physicians at Monroe Clinic.
