Business Services Center Nearly Complete

The new Business Services Center, located just west of the hospital building, is nearing completion. Staff will move into this location in early August   The Business Services Center will be home to Revenue Cycle, Purchasing and Call Center teams.

Besides open office space, there are two large conference spaces and a large break room area to support the team as they do their work.

In the lower level five sleep rooms and complete baths with shower stalls are being built out for on call staff.

The parking area will also be resurfaced and connected to the hospital’s main parking area for convenient patient and visitor parking.

Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Center Progressing

While state approval to begin construction was later than we anticipated, the Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Center construction in the hospital building is well underway and progressing nicely. This new space will be home to physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and sports medicine services.

The framing of the center is nearly complete. The design takes full advantage of the east-facing windows for natural light and ambiance. Therapy rooms and locations, designed with the input of the rehabilitation therapy team, surround a large open space for multi-purpose use. A new and exciting feature will be the 100 foot long track alongside the window. Investment in additional therapy equipment will allow the team to offer new treatment strategies to help patients.

  • Lite Gait treadmill system that supports patients that have difficulty walking after an injury or stroke.
  • Bertec balance therapy system for patients struggling with balance issues.

Finishes for furniture and flooring are selected to carry the existing prairie theme while ensuring the durability and functionality needed for the rehabilitation services.

Wall art and artwork is selected to provide ambiance and inspiration for the patients working their way back to a healthier state.
