Monroe Clinic Lifts Hospital Visitation Restrictions

Since December of 2009, Monroe Clinic has restricted hospital visitation to those over age 13. According to the Wisconsin Division of Public Health, the second wave of H1N1 pandemic is resolved and the influenza illness remains low statewide. Therefore, Monroe Clinic is lifting its visitation policy in the hospital building, including the family birth center.

Monroe Clinic asks all hospital visitors to follow these guidelines:
·    Do not visit the hospital if you are ill.
·    Keep the number of visitors and length of visits to a minimum.
·    Practice hand hygiene before and after each visit with a patient.
